A lab grown diamond is chemically, physically, and optically identical to a mined diamond. Both are pure crystallized carbon, formed under intense heat and pressure. The only difference is where that process happens — one deep underground over billions of years, the other in a controlled lab environment over a matter of weeks.

How they're made
Two paths to the same brilliance
Method 01
HPHT
High pressure, high temperature. This method recreates the same extreme conditions a diamond experiences deep in the earth, compressing a carbon seed until it crystallizes into a diamond.
Method 02
CVD
Chemical vapor deposition. A diamond seed sits in a carbon-rich gas chamber, and the crystal builds up layer by layer until it reaches full size.
