Gold & lab grown gemstones

Why is gold set with lab grown gemstones a great value?

Lab grown gemstones are chemically, physically, and optically identical to their mined counterparts, but typically cost 30 to 40 percent less. Paired with solid gold, you get the same brilliance, durability, and everyday-wear quality as a mined stone, at a more accessible price.

Is a lab grown gemstone a real gemstone?

Yes. A lab grown gemstone has the same chemical composition and physical properties as one formed underground. The only difference is where it was created and how long that took.

What's the difference between white gold, yellow gold, and rose gold?

All three start as the same pure gold, alloyed with different metals to change color and strength. White gold is plated with rhodium for a bright white finish, yellow gold keeps gold's natural warm tone, and rose gold gets its pink hue from a copper alloy.

Will my gold jewelry tarnish or fade over time?

Solid gold doesn't tarnish. White gold's rhodium plating can wear thin after a couple of years of daily wear, at which point it can be re-plated to restore its bright finish.

Is every gemstone certified?

Yes. Every lab grown gemstone we offer comes independently graded and certified, so you know exactly what you're getting.

Can I wear my jewelry every day?

Yes, our pieces are designed for everyday wear. We'd just recommend removing jewelry before swimming, showering, or heavy activity to keep it looking its best for longer.
